If you desire to remove ALL of the photos in the album, that is the same thing as simply deleting the album. You can exercise this on the Albums folio (www.flickr.com/photos/me/albums) by clicking on the little trash can icon on the album.

The above will NOT delete the photos from Flickr. Albums practice non contain the actual photos, they are just a view that shows some of them to yous. The merely place your photos actually "be" is in your Photostream.

If you want to remove SOME of the photos from an album, yous have to go a little sneaky about it. In that location is no way to straight batch-remove photos from an anthology, but yous can batch-ADD all the OTHER photos from your album to a SECOND album, and then delete the offset album.

ane. Open the Organizr (www.flickr.com/photos/organize)
2. At the very lesser left there is a combo box that initially says "All your content". From here, select the anthology y'all want to remove photos from.
--The photos from that album volition appear across the bottom.
3. Select photos that you desire to KEEP in an album. You can click to select one, ctrl-click to select subsequent ones, and shift-click to select a continuous range of them.
4. Drag the selected photos into the batch expanse.
5. Add the batch photos into a new anthology ("Add to album", at the tiptop).
6. Delete the get-go album. (Again, this does not remove the photos from Flickr -- or from the other anthology.)

In that location is no fashion to directly batch-remove photos from an album

With camera roll - opposite to the organizer - it is possible to batch delete photos from albums! Select all photos You want to delete from an album in camera curlicue and then click on the "Add to album" icon. Then a new window pops upwards where You tin notably delete the selected photos course all those albums they all belong to.

Nice tip.

One extra note nearly that: If at first you select some photos that are in the anthology and some photos that are not, then your first click on the album volition actually add together ALL the photos to the album, and then information technology requires another click to remove ALL of the photos from the album.

Thank You for that tip. That may simplify the batch deletion from an album as You don't have to ensure that You select only photos that belong to that album.

However this solution might not exist the most intuitive 1: Y'all have first to click on "Add to album" in order to delete photos from an album.

I know this has been addressed quite a chip, but it was such a source of frustration for me that I thought I'd as well share how I resolved information technology. I auto upload photos from my phone with a high degree of regularity and and then I use my PC to organize them into albums and collections. I then want to empty my car upload album because those photos had been organized and placed where I wanted them to be. If I could not empty the auto upload album I would soon have thousands of pics in the album and, because there is no indication on the pics that they reside in another album, I would ever wonder if this and that had been organized or not and the anthology would become a quagmire. I tried deleting photos from the album later moving them while on my PC and ended up permanently deleting over 600 photos (irretrievable). Y'all would not have liked me that solar day! Information technology is not possible to batch delete from auto upload on your PC without permanently deleting the photo from all of Flickr! On your PC it is possible to remove photos from auto upload one at a time subsequently you have moved (or should I say copied because that really is the only choice you take at this time) them to some other album by clicking on the photo in question and scrolling down to where it indicates which albums the photo is in and deleting information technology from the motorcar upload album by clicking on the respective 'ten'. This can exist excruciatingly cumbersome if yous are dealing with hundreds of new photos and multiple albums. On the brilliant side, I have learned that if you motion/re-create your photos to other albums from auto upload on your PC that you can get to your Flickr app on your phone, go to your auto upload anthology, and easily choose multiple/batch photos (just tap on i or more than photos) to delete from your motorcar upload album and it will do so without deleting them from the other albums. Eureka! Although I wish I could do this on my PC information technology is a lot better than deleting one at a time. I hope this helps others who have the same frustration as I have.

Personally I recall the wisest option is to avoid all "auto-upload" and "machine-sync" capabilities of whatsoever tools, catamenia, end of story. The credible convenience is simply not worth the risks.

Failing that, yous should at to the lowest degree make every effort to accept multiple, physically separated backups of all of your files, at some phase in your process before whatever of the automatic operations are set up to occur.

Deplorable I accept been sick and not able to reply to this thread. Camera Roll is squeamish and works well with normal albums. Unfortunately, I do not run across the "Motorcar Upload" album when I select the add to album option. I understand the pick to remove pictures using that characteristic by unselecting them from the add to anthology (a little backwards and confusing). The Car Upload album seems to be dissimilar and locked in some fashion.

I currently take nearly 5000 images in the Auto Upload anthology (I went to a few concerts recently and went crazy with my burst mode). I might try the suggestion of copying the files to a temporary album then deleting the Auto Upload album. See if that works.
